With my winter hair in full swing. And by that I mean flat and frizzy. I have been trying out a few more goodies from one of my favourite packaged hair care brand, Phil Smith. And it is something I am always in need of, a volume boost. My hair seems to adore the concept of gravity and wants to be as close to be head as possible at all times. So both the Phil Smith Volume Boosting Mousse and the Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Hold Tight Firm Hold Hairspray have been a very quick way to get a bit of life into my roots. Applying the mousse to my damp hair and then with a quick blow dry I have noticed my hair a bit more lively. Luckily this isn't a typical sticky mousse that I avoid, and gentle enough not to make my hair greasy.
The Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Hold Tight Firm Hold Hairspray was always going to have tough competition against my beloved Elnett, but recently thanks to the winter wind my hair has also been defying my normally perfect Elnett. This little pink tin has surprisingly done the job very well, it hasn't weighed down my hair, nor given me a stiff fringe. It also smells non alcoholic like most (cheaper) hairsprays, and has a almost fruity scent. And for £2 its a bargain in comparison, plus using half a can to keep to my hair in tact doesn't seem like a waste of money.
The Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Range and the Big It Up and Hold On Haircare are all available from Sainsbury's from £2. Bargain? I think so.
Have you tried any Phil Smith Haircare before?
