Boots Botanics Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz

Boots Botanics Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz

I just had to buy the Boots Botanics Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz after reading a really lovely review from another beauty blogger, but typical me has forgotten where I read it and I did try my hardest to find the review again so I could link it, so who ever the lovely person was - thank you, as after a Blogger and Twitter search and call out, I had no luck. I adore anything rosewater related, whether that be skincare or a rosewater cupcake, I'm there. I hadn't tried the Boots Botanics range for a while so I was excited to see what they could offer, even more excited when I realised the whole range currently has a 1/3 off.

I did need a new toner, and since my skin has finally grown up out the spot stage (for now at least) I wanted to shy away from blackhead clearing toners and go for a more 'grown up' option. All the Botanics products have such pretty packaging, whilst being simple and keeping in line with the products, plus they 100% Organic, formulated without parabens. Not sure what 100% Organic means, I mean can you get products that are 75% Organic?

When you spritz this it comes out in a fine mist which is very refreshing, and few squirts cover my whole face and neck so I really didn't need much at al. It does have a powerful spray though, so you might have to be careful when spraying it on otherwise you will have drips down you face. Attractive. My skin feels very soft and smooth after i've used it and my moisturiser glides on. It also does a great job of removing any last traces of makeup. But the best thing about this product? The smell by far, the light rose scent is pretty much perfection in my eyes, the smell doesn't linger either, it does die down. Obviously if your not keen on rosewater I would recommend you give this a good sniff first before purchasing. This is just a fantastic product, and I can't really pick any faults (for once), its an excellent Caudalie Beauty Elixir dupe, but just without the price tag.

My top 5 mascaras under £10

The Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara, False Lash Flutter, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara, Volum' Express Colossal Mascara, Mega Plush Volum' Mascara, L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes,

This post did originally starts as 'My top 5 mascaras under £5' but I soon realised there wasn't actually 5 mascaras I liked under £5, there was only one and that wouldn't make a very interesting post. I couldn't put these in order either, so this is a totally random order and when I upped the price to £10 and there was no stopping me...

Rimmel's Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara | This is the only mascara claiming to lengthen that I actually get on with, as it does give my lashes some volume too. The brush really get to the base of my lashes and allows that ultimate 'zig-zag' movement, although it is not the best mascara ever, for £7.99 it is pretty good. I also think this is a excellent L'Oreal False Lash Flutter dupe as it gives a similar effect.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (Missing from the photo as of course I would throw it out) | This is just one of those mascara classics, and my first ever mascara ever actually. I first saw this the film Clueless and with the green lid and pink tube I just had to have it. This just gives my lashes enough of a boost of daytime, with a even volumised look that defined my eyes nicely. Again this isn't the best out there, and I've tried better which all do seem to be the high end brands, so for £4.99 this is by far my best budget buy mascara you will find.

Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Mascara | So I have realised how much Maybelline feature in the post, but they do seem to deliver in the budget mascara department. The Mega Plush Volum' is their newest mascara, and I won't go into too much detail as I have actually given this its own review, but once you have grasped this wand the finished result is just lovely. Nice and volumised, buildable too which doesn't clump. Unless you do what I did and layer it so much that it clumps. You know my favourite thing with this mascara? How easy the removal is, seriously the easiest mascara ever to remove so this often gets applied on those days when I just can't be bothered. For £7.99 this is well worth the money.

Maybelline The Volum' Express Colossal Mascara | Okay okay, my last Maybelline mascara. (Think I should just rename this post again to 'I love Maybelline Mascaras'...) This is actually my favourite offering from Maybelline, and have gone through tubes of this since I found this when I was at college (Not browsing Boots when I should be in a lecture at all...). This just gives my lashes such volume that is buildable, yes you may have to put on a few coats, even though Maybelline do claim it only needs 'one stroke', I wouldn't go that far but I love the finished result. If your stuck on a Maybelline mascara, and that has all happened to us standing in a drugstore staring at the 124435 different mascara they have, go for this one! For £7.19 I would be surprised if you don't get on with this.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara | This is the most expensive mascara on my list, and have found since I purchased this the price has gone up to £10.99...but I love it so much it is staying on my list, and either you won't mind the extra 99p or you will find it on offer like I did. Like with the L'Oreal False Lash Flutter I love L'oreal mascaras, with Max Factor they are my favourite drugstore mascaras but most of them fall over the £10 mark. As you might of realised by now too, I do like a volume mascara, and this one just fits the bill perfectly. Lots of volume, lots of definition and this wins the place of my favourite offering on this list. The brush may be too chunky for some people but not for me. The more extravagant my lashes the better.

Have you tried any of these mascara? What is your mascara to go under £10?

Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin

The Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream

Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin

Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin

The Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin has a new home, and I have since found out that this little jar of white cream shot to stardom quite recently after it was discovered that the Duchess of Cambridge, better known to us as Kate Middleton, is a devout fan. Not that I quite believe that, I'm not slating Nivea at all but surely if you can pick any skincare brand/product in the world, would you head to Boots and pick up the on offer Nivea? I think not.

Onto the cream itself, its thick and consistent but defiantly feels like it has some sort of gel in it, I actually found it quite greasy and emollient. I know it is for sensitive skin but this was just a tad too much grease for my liking. The scent is very natural but heavily floral, it's a little overpowering on the skin for my liking but this does decrease throughout the day luckily as I didn't want to walk round smelling like a ladies powder room, but you can smell the strong chamomile without a doubt. Annoyingly while this did moisture fairly well I still had patches of dry and flaky skin after using this, and I had to reapply more about 4 hours later as my skin felt tight.

This has safely won a place in my 'meh' moisturisers, and its not bad for a £3.57 purchase, but I would not pay the normal £5.10 for this.

ModelCo Fibre LashXtend Lengthening Mascara

ModelCo Fibre LashXtend Lengthening Mascara

ModelCo Fibre LashXtend Lengthening Mascara

Now I'm not going to lie and say I brought this as I was given it by a makeup artist at work, very random but I didn't complain. I've read a few reviews on this as it appear in a (not sure which month) Birchbox. This is actually my first ever fibre mascara, so I didn't know what to expect, and I don't really know what they are supposed to be like? I normally avoid lengthening mascaras like the plague as I just don't get on with them, I like volume, and lots of it. This ModelCo one however does claim to 'amplify your own lashes' leaving 'voluptuous clump-free lashes'.

The packaging is pretty clever as contains a mirror, which could be handy if you like to do your mascara on the go...but then I realised once you look in the mirror you can barely see your reflection, it is like one of those toy plastic mirrors you have when you a child. Very strange. The wand is what I would consider a classic wand shape, nothing fancy or unusual going on, and even though I'm not to sure if you can see but the fibres are sticking out slightly, designed to stick to your lashes and extend their length.

ModelCo Fibre LashXtend Lengthening Mascara

The formula of this mascara is so incredibly thin and dry it barely wipes off the brush, let alone on to my lashes! I seriously struggled with this mascara and was left disappointed as it just doesn't do what it claims. I had to apply multiple coats to get any sort of mascara action, and as you can see in the photos I was still length with my little blonde lashes creeping through! One positive is that is was extremely easy to remove, but I'm guessing that may be due to the fact I barely had any mascara actually on my eyelashes...

My next issue with this is the price, wait for it...£28. Now I will pay stupid amounts for mascara, but I do like them to work, this is by no means awful but I can't see you not being able to pick a mascara in a drugstore just as good (maybe even better) for about a quarter of the price. If I was you I would save your money and treat yourself to something else with the £28. I know I will be sticking to pretty much any other mascara, preferably my good old volumising ones. I really don't mean to be so negative with this and I do love finding new decent mascaras, plus this was my first ever ModelCo product, so I do hate being put off a brand so early, but sometimes these things just need to be said.

(If I haven't put you off) ModelCo Fibre LashXtend Lengthening Mascara - £28

5 Best Beauty Finds You'll Find On The High Street

5 Best High Street/Drugstore Beauty Finds

I am aware that there are only 4 products in this photo, but in true me style as I went to photograph this did I have any Batiste Dry Shampoo? No, course not, that would make everything to easy, but I've still included it below as it firmly deserves a place on this list. These are not in any particular order, just simply alphabetical...

Barry M Lip Paint £4.99 | Barry M is just one of those brands I head to for on trend colours, without leaving to too larger hole in my purse. After years of actually avoiding Barry M thanks to me abusing the colour choices in my teens, think green and purple eyeshadows, and a few lunch time detentions. Now I just love this shade (No.100) of barbie pink, with a matte finish and high colour pigmentation, and used with a lip balm base, lasts all day too. Easily a MAC Snob dupe in my eyes.

Batiste Dry Shampoo (normally) £2.99 | This pretty much sells itself, and I rarely come across someone who doesn't like, even more so now they actually cater them for hair colours so brunette girls (and guys, do they use this!?) don't get the talcum powder look. This is just excellent for absorbing grease, lifting my hair at the roots and generally making my hair acceptable to step out my front door, even if the length since my last hair wash isn't...

Bourjois Tanning Primer £9.99 | This is a new summer product for Bourjois as has been hailed as a Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Univere dupe. I have never tried Chanel's offerings but I won't need to as I completely love this from Bourjois. I was seriously worried that using this under my foundation would leave me looking distinctly Oompa Loompa-like, but much to my amazement just gave me such a natural tan whilst keeping my foundation in place. This gives a colour way more natural than a facial tanner can do, and I can't rave enough about this product, can you tell?!

L'oreal False Lash Flutter Mascara £10.99 | Like I quickly mentioned, mascara is one of those products I'll always pay more for as I love the false lash look. Very natural of course. But L'oreal are my drugstore to go brand for mascara, not only do they have so much choice, their mascaras actually work. False Lash Flutter is very much a mascara for those who love volume, but still keeping the lashes defined. And of course as the name suggests a false lash flutter. Or for a more natural look I highly recommend Max Factor Clump Defy, I love this for a daytime look, my second option.

Superdrug Coconut Oil £2.99 | This is very much a new find for me, although my love for coconut scented products is not, I have never come across coconut oil for my hair. I had tried many different oils, almond, olive and argan to name a few but they were pushed to the side when I found this beauty. Not only is it multi purpose so you can use this as skincare, the benefits I have found since using this are pretty much endless. My natural shoulder length hair has, wait for it...grown past my shoulders for the first time since I've been about 13! May be pure chance, however nothing else has changed for it too take on this sudden growth spurt, even so my hair has been left incredibly soft with my dry scalp gone. My hair has even achieved shine, which us blondes know is one hard task. If your still not sold on this, and honestly all these rambling views are my own (!), then you just need to buy this anyway just for the smell. I have since got so excited about Coconut Oil, I gave it its own review.

So there we have it, my low down on my 5 Best High Street Beauty Finds, I actually struggled to compose this list as there was so many more products I could of added, Boots and Superdrug have done me well recently.

What are your high street must haves?

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray

Hey beauties, yep, another magazine freebie. Magazine freebies have seriously upped their game recently. Bumble and Bumble are a brand I have been dying to try out but I have never got round to parting my money with them. Luckily this months Elle sorted me out and supplied a sample of the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray, claiming to protect from heat, add volume, and give lift and control when applied to wet or damp hair.

Bumble and Bumble do actually have mini bottles available for purchase, which obviously I would just find out now. My hair is in serious need of anything claiming to thicken, and I get through cans of Elnett hairspray as my hair doesn't even stay in place when I'm just lounging round at home, so a product that could fix both would be ideal.

I applied this throughout damp hair before styling all through my roots, which in my opinion is totally wrong for a hairspray. Don't you apply hairspray after styling? But I did what I was told...I just styled my hair as usual but didn't use any other styling products just so I could just how much this product works. It was quite hard to distribute evenly and didn't really spray, more of a dribble over my hands and onto my hair, and once my hair was dried I think my hair had more volume but nothing really noticeable if I'm honest and I'm not sure it was worth the hassle as it didn't give any more volume or thickness than my normal mousse. I really did want to like but maybe I just had super high expectations of Bumble and Bumble?

One positive though, it does smell divine - fresh, floral and summery. Easily one of the best haircare product for smell but I think I'll be using it more as a room spray....

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray £21.50 for 250ml (Ouch!)

What do you think of Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray?

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow

Why is it that your makeup decides to run out at the same time? So frustrating, you think that you fine and have plenty of product left only to go use it and find its run out. If you read my post a few weeks ago you might remember thats how I ended up with a Miss Sporty concealer thanks to Benefit Brow Zings running out on me. So yep you guess it; thats how I ended up trying out the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow.

The Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow comes in two shades, Dark Blonde and Soft Brown. I honestly wouldn't bother with the Dark Blonde, it didn't actually show up when I tried it at all. The pencils are a soft wax formula so that might play a part in the softness, but I was still expecting a bit of colour! The Soft Brown is exactly that, a light brown and amazingly this matches my natural brow colour to a tee. Like I mentioned this a soft wax with what is described as subtle colour pigments, and a brow brush on the other end.

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow

Lets start with the positives with this, the brush is actually quite good and firm enough to tame those wild hairs, and then once the pencil is applied it is a very natural look. There do seem to be more negatives with this pencil than positives, which is a shame as I really don't want to be negative. Obviously this is only my opinion based on how I like my brows, but I prefer mine more defined and this pencil just doesn't quite deliver. The wax is so soft I really struggle to build up any colour, and plus as a result the pencil is running down very quickly so I can't see this lasting long at all. Just have a look at my attempts below...I'll be honest and say I didn't bother swatching this as you literally can't see any form of colour when I drew a line, and I am guessing you don't just want to see a photo of my hand.

I think if your not a brow gal and just want something to tidy and neaten them up with, then this will be the product for you. Plus for only £2.99 its not going to cause to much of a dent in your purse. However, if you like more defined and a deeper colour brow I would just be a bit wary of this pencil as you may be left a tad disappointed with the result.

Models Own Make-up Blending Egg Sponges

Models Own Make-up Blending Egg Sponges

Models Own Make-up Blending Egg Sponges

Models Own Make-up Blending Egg Sponges

I know in the makeup application world that sponges that a bit of a taboo, and brushes are the holy grail of foundation application. But there are days were I am just too lazy and need my foundation blended as soon as possible, hence why I always have a sponge floating somewhere near by to assist me. I have been lusting after some blending sponges for a while now, as I can use them both with my brush and * whispers* sponges, but the only ones I could find were from MAC at £15 for one. Not a price I was going to pay for my first time with a blending sponge, but I did find Models Own Make-up Blending Egg Sponges. I actually had no idea Models Own did other items part from nail polishes and the odd lip item, so I did leave Boots feeling like a very bad makeup addict.

These sponges are an egg shape and I use the pointed end for those hard to reach areas such as the areas around your eyes, nose and eyebrows. I use the rounded end to blend those make-up brush (and sponge) lines and to blend my make-up in my hair line and jaw/neck. You can also apply bronzer and blusher to larger areas of your face with the rounded fat end of the sponge, which was news to me again as I didn't think that fat end did anything. Ooops, good job I never did train as makeup artist.

I really can see the difference with using these sponges and they do leave my skin with that airbrushed look and even blends in my most orange foundation applications leaving it looking like my skin, not foundation. I have tried this with a few different foundations types from my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse right up to Chanel Perfection Lumiere Liquid Foundation and they work just as well. If blending sponges are not part of your makeup bag I highly recommend that you get yourself some, I will be very surprised if you don't see a difference.

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick Review
Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick
The Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick is a new addition that I just couldn't resist picking up. Not sure why if I am honest, I don't like their 'Fit Me' range, nor do I suffer from skin shine but hey ho I brought this anyway. When I got this home I actually found out Maybelline used to sell a foundation stick in the 90's that got discontinued, does anyone remember this? I was a tad too young for makeup then being a 90's baby but I would about it.

I did notice however this was only available in 3 shades...that needs to change Maybelline but maybe being a new product more colours will come out in the near future! I checked out the website were it said 6 shades were available but...in the Superdrug and the two Boots I stopped there was no more than 3. So I picked myself up the Ivory shade, the only one for pale skin. The medium was awfully dark, and a tad orange.

The packaging is very basic and in keeping with the whole 'Fit Me' range, nothing fancy or exciting to talk about, but it is very lightweight and compact so perfect for a handbag addition. Being shine free this is foundation stick designed for those who suffer with a oily t-zone whilst providing a light coverage, and this unique selling factor that Maybelline have added is the anti-shine core, which you can see is a clear formula designed, well to stop shine. This also has a matte finish which is the one factor I will always like with Maybelline foundations. The anti-shine core reminds me of the Benefit 15 hour primer with that very similar primer centre.

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick Swatch

Onto the formula itself, and this surprisingly gives a very creamy application which was almost like a gel, and glides on very easily. I started by just trying this on my cheeks but ended up applying it all over my face as the coverage is very build-able, while staying lightweight and I really like the powder soft finish. But by no means is it a dry cakey matte, but can only be described as a dewy matte finish, if there is such a thing. And for further praise this stayed put all day and after about 4 hours I needed to do some touch ups. I must admit I was surprised by how much I like this, even if it could be further than the foundations I normally go for, and think this is the best product from the 'Fit Me' range. My only gripe is the price, currently £8.99 and for me it seems rather expensive for what it is, considering it is only a lightweight, drugstore product. Or am I just being grumpy and tight. Anyway I'll just be waiting for some more colour choices now Maybelline.

Peony & Blush Suede the new Jo Malone London collection...a preview!

summer Jo Malone London collection

Peony & Blush Suede the new Jo Malone London collection
New Jo Malone campaign. Now, why does my house not look like that?
Last week I had a very luxurious day thrown in between my daily chaos and got the chance to get a sneak preview of the new Jo Malone collection. I went to soak up the scent and generally be nosey at boutique in Tunbridge Wells. Seriously this new opening is such a bad idea for my purse, plus it is next to MAC and Benefit Cosmetics. I really have no hope do I?

Jo Malone London will be soon releasing their latest collection, the gorgeous Peony & Blush Suede, the collection will include 30 ml and 100 ml colognes, a 250 ml Body & Hand Wash, a 175 ml Body Crème, and a 200 g Home Candle. All of which will be coming out this September. The Peony & Blush Suede Collection was created by Jo Malone’s Master Perfumer Christine Nagel and was inspired by 1940s high glamour and aimed to bridge the gap between couture and cologne, anything with a touch a glamour is a winner! This instantly reminds me of Downtown Abbey and The Great Gatsby, yes I know technically the wrong era but you get my drift.

Peony & Blush Suede the new Jo Malone London collection

Peony & Blush Suede the new Jo Malone London collection

Peony & Blush Suede the new Jo Malone London collection

Now the important part, the scent itself! Firstly, red apple for a crisp, fruity top note which is described as ‘a crisp mouthwatering accord opening the fragrance with a fruity twist’ and then suede as a base. Suede? Yes you did read that right! This unusual ingredient, and one I have never come across before in scent, really does work. Just go and have a sniff if your still unsure! The resulting scent is one that’s quite powerfully floral but has a sharp bite, initially, and something deeper and slightly more musky as the perfume settles down onto the skin with the suede powering through. I seriously love this, I am normally fussy with my perfumes and end up with sticking to same but this has actually replaced my Chanel fragrance, tough job but I can't praise this scent enough.

Jo Malone is actually famous for their scent pairing unknown to me, meaning you can pair up their scents to your liking, I was introduced to three delicious combinations that change the dynamics of each fragrance, it was just like having a totally new bottle of fragrance. Peony & Blush Suede paired with English Pear & Freesia, the scent becomes more delicate and soft, and very sensual. The suede becomes less apparent and the entire scent lift.  I was in awe at this point that you can spray on two different scents and it really works. It is a bit like magic - perfume style! Moving onto a more citrus version, adding the Orange Blossom made the fragrance into a very summery, girly and well, orangey. But having the undertones from the original scent gives this a luxurious twist with a bit more depth.

Lastly I tried a bit of a heavier combination, Peony & Blush Suede with the Saffron Cologne Intense. This is much more an evening scent, being more deep and sexy as the saffron kicks in. Peony & Blush Suede does add a delicate side to the intense peppered intense cologne. To be honest this pairing is a tad too much for my girly tastes, but I can tell those of you like a heavy perfume will completely fall in love with this, the vivid notes of the saffron really give this a scent you wouldn't of smelt before. I will never be the best person to judge heavy scents though as I am floral girl through and through.

The Peony & Blush Suede collection is available from Monday 2nd September, so not that long of a wait. And I think if like me, you haven't had the chance either to try or buy a Jo Malone cologne yet this will be the perfect introduction to Jo Malone and a lifetime addiction.

Have you tried Jo Malone before?

Miss Sporty Stay Perfect Concealer Stick

Miss Sporty Stay Perfect Concealer Stick Review

So this weekend my heart got broken... First time in my life and being 22 that isn't bad is it? And you want to know what happened...my Benefit Boi-ing concealer ran out the same week my bank account apparently ran out of funds too. Hhhmpp. I love that concealer, I really do, there is not another one I have tried that actually covered all my blemishes, dark circles and well all my sins with one little pot. Yes it was pricey but oh so worth it, and running out right before I get my next pay check is just heartbreaking, so in need of concealer badly I embarked on a trip to Superdrug to see what I could find.

I know Miss Sporty is that brand you buy when your 13 and deeply convinced you need every makeup item available to go on your face, and I was purposely after the cheapest offerings as I will repurchase my Benefit one ASAP so spending a lot just seemed like false economy. I actually went to pick up MUA concealer stick but they had sold out, think the launch of their One Direction makeup line might have something to do with that. So for 79p more for £1.79 I got hold of the Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Cover Stick.

Miss Sporty Stay Perfect Concealer Stick Swatch

This comes in a whooping 3 shades (note the sarcasm) of light, medium and dark. And to me pretty all for Caucasian skin, I got the medium shade and this is still pretty light! It is also a anti blemish stick apparently, with a oil free and stay put formula that does have a thick texture that does apply very well, much to my surprise.

The colour is a peachy colour that cancels out both my red marks and black (tired) eyes and even more to my surprise blends in very well with my fingers. I have paired it up next to Benefit below just for comparisons. It is a tad cakey but the colour doesn't make it obvious, unless you really stared up close at my face, which I don't normally let people do so I think I'll be okay! Plus this stayed put for around 6 hours before I needed to do any touch ups. It does have a matte finish so bare that in mind if you wanted it purely for under eyes as you might not be happy with the results, but for everywhere else on your face this really does the job.

Overall? You know what, I am impressed. Yes by no means will it be taking over Benefit but for £1.79 it is very worth the money and does do what I want, bags and blemishes gone. You can barely buy a bottle of Pepsi Max for the cost of this.

Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner

Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner

Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner

Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner nib

Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner

Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner

Yep, as did most the beauty blogging world, I got this free Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner with Marie Claire. And the magazine was discounted from the normally £3.60 to £2.50 so I couldn't not buy it.

I hadn't heard too much on Eyeko before this free gift, but I will be investigating more of their products for sure. But I since noticed they stock on ASOS, so God knows how I missed them. Normally a gel girl, a felt tip was a brand new experience and I was very worried that, well it would look like felt tip applied. I straight away loved the packaging, I adore nicely packaged and expensive looking products, regardless of the cost. I expect Primark makeup to look expensive, wishful think but hey ho. With the silver metal packaging this really stands out against those plastic tube.

To my surprise here it was very easy to apply, straight lines are not my forte but I did manage it with this. Lack of art skills aside, the nib is thick enough to create a visible line but not too thin that you get the felt tip look. The formula seems fairly thick and I didn't get any uncovered patches, plus this stayed put for around 5 hours. This may last longer but I took it off as I was going to bed.

Overall, I am very happy with this. Especially being a freebie. Can't say I'll replace my gel liner with Eyeko's offering but this is one of the best eyeliners I've tried in a while. Good one Miss Marie Clarie.
