Boots really do need to stop with those vouchers, as I have no self control. I always find something to try. I love their day cream and this is as far as I go with No7, I don't get on with anything else from the range. I decided to try the Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm.
It says to apply it to a dry face and then massage in for a few minutes. I then remove it with this a flannel and warm water. And this doesn't sound awfully like the famous Liz Earle hot polish cleanser so I was intrigued to see the comparison. It's a rich cream texture that feel more of a moisturiser rather than a balm, and although I do manage to remove a lot of my daily foundation with this my skin doesn't feel clean at all really, leaving me to do a second wash. Tad annoying. This does make my skin feel soft, smooth and doesn't have any kind of drying effect; it's just a shame that it's not the best cleanser I've tried. The smell in my opinion is much better than Liz Earle's strong scent, but even still I'm not overwhelmed with this cleanser at all.
But then it is £9 for 150ml so a much nicer price than Liz Earle, but I much prefer The Body Shops version. Another disappointing buy from No7.
